The University of Victoria launches world's first library-based institute for advanced studies.

Join us on September 15 for UVic Libraries’ public launch of Kula: Library Futures Academy. We will feature a series of moderated panel discussions on the theme of “Truth, Knowledge, & Society,” with a second practitioner's day planned for September 16 on “Truth, Knowledge, Society, & Digital Preservation.”

Speakers include Richard Ovenden, Bodley's Librarian, University of Oxford; Leslie Weir, Librarian and Archivist of Canada; authors Lawrence Hill, Richard Van Camp, and Esi Edugyan; Shelagh RogersUVic Chancellor Emerita; filmmaker Atom Egoyan; and many others!
