Spotting AI content online In-Person / Online
Are you sure your favourite celebrity REALLY said that? How do you know that source in your bibliography is REALLY written by a credible author?
AI content is hiding everywhere online. Images, audio, video, text… Generative AI tools can create huge amounts of it almost automatically. Will you be able to tell the difference between real content and AI?
In this workshop we’ll compare examples of real (human-created) and generative AI content. We’ll learn techniques to evaluate what you’re seeing and hearing online to tell if it’s real or AI-generated, and why that even matters.
Put your knowledge to the test! By the end of this session, you’ll be able to effectively use the criteria and skills we discuss to tell if online content is AI generated.
