Citations made easy: Intro to Zotero

Citations made easy: Intro to Zotero Online

Are citations giving you a headache? Do you find the intricacies of citation styles like APA or MLA confusing? Tired of the last-minute rush to create a correctly formatted bibliography? If so - you should try Zotero!

Zotero is a free software that streamlines the process of importing, organizing, and managing references. Plus, it generates in-text citations and bibliographies in various citation styles - APA, MLA, Chicago, IEEE and much more. This introductory workshop is geared towards new or novice Zotero users, with the aim of getting them up and running with this citation management software.

Workshop Outcomes:

  • Learn how to import, organize, and manage sources using Zotero.
  • Create in-text citations and bibliographies.
  • Discover how Zotero saves you time with the Zotero Connector.

** For this session, you will need to have Zotero already installed to participate.  If you are installing Zotero on a work computer where you don't have permission to install software, you may need to ask your helpdesk for assistance.**
