"Storytelling Our Lives" : A dramatic reading in University Archives and Special Collections In-Person

UVic students breathe life into the archive with a dramatic reading of Lina de Guevara’s play, ‘Storytelling Our Lives.’ The poignant tale follows five women as they immigrate to Canada, featuring Gabby Blake, Judy Caranto, Janina Ferrer, Ximena Garduño, and Julia Patterson.

Directed by 2024 Lowens Fellow Rowan Watts. Sound design by Chris Stewart. 

Doors open at 6 p.m. Reading starts at 6:30 p.m., with director's remarks and post-reading discussion to follow. 

In-person event only. Registration limited to 40 participants.
