Sensational Citational Practices: Practical Tips and Ethical Considerations In-Person
Sensational Citational Practices: Practical Tips and Ethical Considerations, 12 to 1pm, March 13; Library room 130 Citing your sources doesn’t need to be a source of anxiety. This workshop aims to take the mystery out of why and how to give credit to others’ intellectual property, and to link the principles of academic integrity to concrete practices for completing research papers, argumentative and persuasive writing tasks, and other acts of writing from sources with confidence and skill. We’ll examine rhetorical and grammatical options for integrating quotations and paraphrases, as well as differences in disciplinary preferences and practices.
