Making Notes and Optimizing Math & Stats Class Time

Making Notes and Optimizing Math & Stats Class Time In-Person

A workshop by the Math & Stats Assistance Centre

We will discuss strategies for making notes in Math & Stats courses and talk about how to get the most out of class time so you can avoid needless repetition outside of class. We will provide practical tips and strategies you can implement to improve your performance in your math and stats courses this term as well as the future.  Group activities during the session will give you an opportunity to put this advice into action. The session integrates the Math Study Tips by MacGillivray et al. with published research.
