Bookbinding Workshop: Create Your Own Handmade Journal
Join librarian Michael Lines for a hands-on, 90-minute bookbinding workshop.
In this session at the Farallon Book Arts Lab, you'll craft and decorate your own handmade notebook, sketchbook, or journal. Perfect for beginners, this session guides you through the basics of stitching and assembling a single-signature book using beautiful papers and simple tools. Personalize your creation with decorative covers and finishing touches, and leave with a unique, functional piece you made yourself—ready to fill with sketches, notes, or memories.
No experience required. Participants are kindly asked to bring $5 to help cover the cost of materials.
