Intro to Image Editing with Photopea In-Person

Note: This workshop will be held in person.

Photopea a user-friendly and free web-based tool that helps people edit their photos and graphics, and looks and operates very similar to Adobe Photoshop.

Learning objectives

Participants will be familiar with the following by the end of this workshop:

  1. How to access basic tools and navigate menus
  2. How to use layers
  3. How to do simple edits to a photograph (heal tool, convert to black and white, increase contrast, crop)
  4. How to resize an image for easier online sharing
  5. How to use Place to insert an image
  6. How to use the Eyedropper tool to select a color and use the Paint Bucket tool to add color to an area
  7. (Optional) Select part of an image
  8. (Optional) How to remove someone/something from a photo

No software installation is necessary as Photopea is browser-based.
