Join the Open Science Community of Victoria (OSCV) on Monday, March 16, from 11:00–12:30 PM to experience a collaborative, community‑driven approach to improving preprints through a Live Review.

In this interactive online session, Alan Colin‑Arce, PREreview Champion and research fellow at the University of Victoria’s Electronic Textual Cultures Lab (ETCL), will guide participants through a constructive discussion designed to provide clear and actionable feedback to improve a preprint relating to open science.

Based on the registrant participant responses, we will be reviewing the following preprint:

Participants can choose the level of engagement that suits them best:

• Listener – observe the conversation without contributing.
• Discussion Participant – join the dialogue by unmuting when invited and/or adding insights to the shared notes document.
• Review Author – participate in the discussion and help shape the final written review that will be published on PREreview.org, an open source infrastructure to share constructive feedback of preprints.

Students, researchers, and faculty join these sessions to exchange insights, build skills, and contribute to a more open, inclusive, and equitable peer‑review ecosystem.
