Interactive, Nonlinear Stories & Guided Interviews with Twine Online

Are you a UVic student, faculty, or staff member and want to learn more about interactive storytelling with digital tools? If so, then this hands-on workshop will give you an introduction to Twine, which is an open-source tool for telling interactive, nonlinear stories. Once you’ve completed this session you’ll be able to:

Create stories with branching passages based on the reader’s input.
Embed photos and video in your stories.
Format the text and background with CSS.
Randomly branch to one of a pool of pre-selected passages.

No programming skills are required for this workshop; just a good imagination and a desire to tell a story.
